We did it. At the Morrison Branch of the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County the branch manager gave us the go-ahead to hold a Murder Mystery Party to lure in new Friends of the Library.
All the staff is contributing their talents to pull this event off and so far it's going very smoothly.
The 40 people who work in the building and some of the administrators at Main Library are organizing catering, getting professional printing, writing an original murder mystery and very much working as a team to have a really spooky after-hours program for the public.
This blog is intended to be a guide for other librarians to have something similar.
